Volunteers needed for 2014 School Year! http://www.ahcinc.org/index.html WHAT:  AHC Inc., a long-time nonprofit affordable housing developer in Arlington, has been providing education programs for more than 20 years. Volunteers are needed for just one hour a week - and can make a real difference. There are two different opportunities: 1) Tutor Teens in the Evening:  Fosters both academic and life skills to help teens graduate from high school and maximize their potential. Tutors are paired with one student throughout the school year for one hour once a week from  6:30 to 7:30 pm .  Volunteers make a real difference. Since we started tracking, ALL of the students in our program have graduated from high school and nearly 90% have gone to college. 2)  Work with Elementary Students  in the Afternoon: Focuses on building literacy and math skills. I would like to welcome all of you to this new Networking League that I thought would be a great way to not only network, but share idea's, support businesses of the ladies who own their own, as well as encourage, and positively support one another.  I have an awesome group of woman in my network, and I would love for them to flourish in 2013.
