Part Time w/Budget Blinds

I hope that this note finds you in good health and enjoying the holiday season.   I’d love to alert you to a unique opportunity and ask you to consider forwarding to your network.

I am ready to hire a part-time sales person for Budget blinds of Silver Spring, Bethesda and DC.  It’s been a hectic six months managing these two territories and now it is time to work smarter and not harder!

Budget Blinds sell custom shades, blinds, drapery and shutters. Most of the sales are done in the home but we have been approached and won large projects in commercial, government and education market for window coverings.  As such, we need assistance to cover the residential portion of the business.

Ideally I would look to hire someone who

Has experience or acumen for residential interior design or decorating

Comfortable meeting people in their homes – pets, children, various ethnicities, level of income

Can manage a tape measure, tablet and cell phone

Attention to detail

Professional and organized

High degree of customer service skills – returns calls in timely fashion, respectful of other peoples spaces, etc.

Can work easily with ME!

Initially, the compensation will be 100% commission at 15-20 hours per week. This could grow into full-time and a combination of salary and commission but not immediately. Candidate must also have his/her own reliable transportation and working knowledge of Washington DC, Bethesda, Kensington and Silver spring areas via car.   Candidate will set his/her own schedule but will need to be available some evenings and some Saturdays.
