A Thanksgiving Devotional


My cousin writes these great devotionals and I wanted to share with you all.  Hope you had a wonderful and Bless Thanksgiving with your family.    


 

 "Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. (‭Psalms‬ ‭100‬:‭4‬ NLT)"
 
As we celebrate everything that we are thankful for let's continue beyond this day. The ability to breath, speak, see, feel, touch, jump...all of these things, and more, is something to praise God for. And I know this is probably a message that all have heard before, but to me it is important to be thankful daily. Even in the little things. When you wake up in the morning just say "good morning God, and thank You Lord!" 

Practice here what it will be like there every day. Can you imagine if all of us lived with that mindset? The bible says in everything give praise! So why not do that? 

So this thanksgiving let's make a resolution to be more intentional about being thankful for everything. Not only in our words, but our actions. Live in daily in thanksgiving and watch your world change. I promise you the things that use to bother you will no longer, because you have outweighed the good with the bad. Make the decision to look up to God for the blessing of grace and mercy, and to look out to spread and share that with others.
