Event Details

The American Heart Association invites you to participate in the Heart's Delight Wine Tasting & Auction taking place in April. Heart's Delight is widely recognized as a premier destination event where master winemakers, culinary greats and our distinguished guests gather to play and bid in our Nation's Capital. This distinctive event is a four-day celebration of exceptional food and wine with unique touches woven throughout. Over the past fifteen years, Heart’s Delight has raised more than $13 million for the fight against heart disease and stroke. A variety of volunteer positions are available including set-up, guest registration, auction monitoring and check-out, escorting VIPs and pouring and moving wine. Assignments are suitable for large or small groups, individuals, and those who prefer to work “behind the scenes”.

The shift times for each date and location are listed above. We will make volunteer assignments on a first-come, first-served basis. With the exception of set-up jobs, all volunteers must have documentation showing that they are 21 or older.  Most positions require that you can lift at least 25 lbs. Depending on your assignment, you may be asked to participate in a conference call orientation prior to the event. All registered volunteers will receive full event details in April.
To sign up to volunteer, please select the shift date(s) and time(s) you are interested in and enter the number of volunteers you are registering. You will be prompted to enter each participant’s name and contact information.
